Garenne Bigby

I build Web Governance tools. I write about where the web is going.

I’m Garenne Bigby, founder of Dyno Mapper and IATO. For 15 years I’ve built site crawlers, visual sitemaps, and content auditing tools used by agencies, universities, and enterprise teams. Now I’m building the layer that makes websites readable to AI agents. I also write about what that means for SEO, agencies, and anyone whose work depends on the web.

What I’m building right now

Three live products. One thesis: the next generation of web infrastructure has to be readable by AI agents, not just humans.

IATO

An AI-powered SEO and web crawling platform. Visual sitemaps, automated audits, MCP-native tooling, and Google Analytics + Search Console integration.

IATO MCP for WordPress

Free, AI-agnostic WordPress plugin. Connects your site to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible AI. WordPress and Elementor native, with more page builders coming.

Dyno Mapper

Visual sitemap, content inventory, and accessibility platform. Running since 2014. Used by agencies, universities, and enterprise teams. Public API with 75 endpoints across 9 modules.

Agentic SEO

What changes when the next visitor to your website is a research agent, not a human? Notes on what it means for a site to be agent-readable, and what agencies need to think about now.

Trust as Infrastructure

Autonomous tools that touch real client sites need a real trust layer: audit trails, dry-runs, rollback, scoped permissions. Most “AI for X” tools skip this and pay for it later.

Tooling for Agencies

How agencies running 30 or 300 client sites can use AI without losing the editorial control that’s the whole reason their clients hired them in the first place.
